Chris Paul is coming to Orlando to play against the Orlando Magic tonight.  Didn’t your mother teach you to not fall for potentially misleading  headlines?

The Magic and Hornets face off tonight at 7pm at the Amway Center.  The game will be televised locally on Sun Sports.

The Magic are listed as 9 point favorites tonight as New Orleans will be lacking Emeka Okafor and former Magic player Trevor Ariza.  Apparently Vegas does not think that Aaron Gray and David Anderson can match up well with Dwight Howard.

Further adding to the Hornets disadvantages tonight is that they have dropped 6 of their last 7 games including their last two games to the Nets and the Timberwolves.  Those two teams have a combined record of 29-76. Impressive!

The Magic will once again be without Brandon Bass, although he did participate in shootaround today and will potentially be available for Sunday’s matchup with the Lakers.

Bottom line: Anything less than a win tonight against the short handed New Orleans Hornets would be a big disappointment.

Tickets are still available for tonight’s game from as low as $25.  Check out all the available options here.
